| Alarm Technician Level 1 | The Alarm Technician Level One course is the industry standard for learning all facets of the alarm industry. This course presents an overview of the theory, installation and maintenance of alarm systems, basic electricity, standards, perimeter detection, space detection, fire systems, control panels, communications, CCTV, job planning, and false alarm prevention.
The Alarm Technician Level One course is based on the three day instructor-led course taught through the National Training School. If you would like to obtain certification for this course you will need to take and pass the Level 1 examination. Students who pass the online training are allowed to take the certfication exam without attending the live classroom training. Please contact NTS at 866.636.1687 or nts@alarm.org to obtain fees, times and locations for examination.
Once your registration has been processed you will receive a training manual via ground service delivery. Your manual will arrive within 7-10 business days. If you do not receive your manual within that time please contact NTS at 866.636.1687 or nts@alarm.org.
